Humans never really get the right amount of sleep. We always have something or the other on our plate which makes it difficult for us to get a full 8 hours of restful sleep. It is hence advised that we take a power nap whenever possible- somewhere between 20-30 minutes.
This will not only help our body function at its peak, but it will also bring about a lot of changes in us that are advantageous. But there are limitations to it- emergency naps are a big no-no, for they will simply make you tired AFTER you have taken the nap.
There are many kinds of sleep:
- 1. Habitual Napping: You have created a habit of sleeping at the same time every day.
- 2. Emergency Napping: You are exhausted and when you return home, and you fall sleep suddenly.
- 3. Prepatory Napping: In this kind of napping, you prepare your body and then go to sleep.
