7 most common nail conditions and how to treat them:
1. White spots
White spots appear on the nails because of zinc deficiency in the body. Eat more pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, peas and red meat.
2. Soft nails with curl upward
These types of nails are a result of iron deficiency. You need to take 325mg of iron sulfate 3 times a day.
3. Yellow nails
Yellow nails are a result of vitamin E deficiency. Eat more sweet potatoes, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts and wheat germ oil as natural sources of vitamin E or add vitamin E supplements in your diet.
