Having a soft, glowing, clear, and healthy skin never goes out of style, so we all tend to find an effective solution to achieve this goal. Yet, commercial skin care products are often full of harmful chemicals, have not even been tested before being released on the market.
Studies have found that multiple skin care products are rich in phthalates, a key component in plastic, and numerous of these products are not properly labeled, and hide terrible truths about their ingredients.
According to Elizabeth Sword, executive director of the Children’s Health Environmental Coalition:
“There are industry trade secrets and formulations that for industry reasons are kept from the consumer. This prevents the consumer from making fully informed decisions.”
